Drug Uses
Aciphex makes to diminish the acid amount produced in your stomach. Aciphex is used for dealing ulcere, the disease of reflux gastroesophageal (GERD or heartburn) and other circumstances that they are involving excessive production acid of the stomach.
How Taken
Aciphex is available for oral administration as delayed-release, enteric-coated tablets. The recommended adult oral dose is one Aciphex 20 mg delayed-release tablet to be taken once daily for four to eight weeks. Take each dose with a full glass of water.
Do not break, chew, or split the tablets. Swallow them whole. They are specially formulated to release slowly in your body.
Warnings/Precautions

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
Possible Side Effects
Serious side effects from Aciphex are rare. You will stop to accept Aciphex and search for unforeseen medical aid if you you experience allergic reaction, then (difficulty breasing; to shut your throat; swelling your lips, language, or side; or hives) to Aciphex.
More less serious side effects from Aciphex are also uncommon. Continue to accept Aciphex and to have a talk to your doctor if you you experience headache; upset stomach or diarrhea; insomnia or nervousness; either rash or itching.
Side effects with exception of those of those enumerated here can also occur. You will have a talk to your doctor about any side effect which they seem unusual or which specially bothersome.
Storage
Keep Aciphex out of the reach of children. Store Aciphex at room temperature (between 59°F and 86°F). Protect Aciphex from moisture.
Overdose
Symptoms of an Aciphex overdose are not known. Seek emergency medical attention.
More Information
There are no restrictions on food, beverages, or activity while taking Aciphex, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
Do not stop taking Aciphex even if you begin to feel better. Your symptoms may improve before your condition is fully treated.
